In an effort to provide services to a wider clientele, the Elder Mistreatment Helpine (La Ligne Aide Abus Aînés) has been undergoing an important transition and will now simply be known as the Mistreatment Helpline. Its new services have been progressively deploying across the province of Quebec over the last few months and have now arrived in Montreal.
In addition to serving seniors and their loved ones, the line now offers its listening helpline, assessment and referral services to all vulnerable adults and their loved ones dealing with a situation of mistreatment in the Montreal area. Call 1 888 489-2287 to speak to a counsellor.
