CIUSSS Users' Committee Annual General Meeting
Members of the User Committees and Resident Committees of the CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal, as well as members of the public in our region and employees, are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the CIUSSS User Committee.
The event will take place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, via the Zoom platform, and will be accessible to visually impaired individuals.
Opening the event, Mr. Jean-Philippe Payment, Commissioner for Complaints and Quality of Services and President of the Association of Complaints and Quality of Services Commissioners of Quebec, along with Ms. My An Nguyen, Advisor to the Commissioner for Complaints and Quality of Services, will discuss the ethical challenges in complaint management: exploring the ethical dilemmas that may arise in handling complaints, particularly regarding confidentiality, consent, and fairness.

The Lethbridge-Layton-Mackay Rehabilitation Centre Users' Committee brings together representatives from various client groups served by our rehabilitation centre. They are adults or parents of children or adolescents who may have a motor, visual or hearing impairment or a communication disorder.
We represent the users of the MAB, MacKay, Constance-Lethbridge sites and the Satellite Centre.
Our role
- Inform users of their rights and obligations.
- Defend the collective rights and interests of users before the institution or any competent authority.
- Accompany and assist users, on request, in any actions they undertake, including filing a complaint.
- Evaluate users’ satisfaction with services received.
- Help improve the quality of services and users’ living conditions.
